the media shows the foul parts of everyone…not just black ppl….there are plenty of successful prominent african americans in the world today for the black youth to look up to…I think they’re smart enough to know the right path vs the wrong path…maybe they choose the wrong path b/c its easier, or b/c they made themselves believe that a black man can’t possible make it in the world today which we both know isnt true

  • KoolDa1 says:

    Then what’s this debate about?

  • Blueshirts07 says:

I’m not sure…I kinda lost track

  • KoolDa1 says:

I didn’t!! Your opinion is your own as well as mine is mine!!
There’s no sense in me trying to explain to you what you wish to not know.
    Shalom!!

  • If you have done nothing then stop concerning yourself with this message as it does not pertain to you. When this man says “they” he is referring in a general sense to those in power. And as it relates to hip hop he is dead on. The crap you, and more importantly my people, hear on the radio about destruction is not what’s being said in the underground by those who are conscious. But these artists have no backing, why?

Hip Hop means really about the struggle, but has been abused by greed, ignorance and fanasties such as fast cars, women, money and killings.

What I understand about hip hop is to express the struggles that we encounter and how to uplift ourselves from them.

  • i agree but we can’t forget the factor of knowledge. Young people don’t just wake up with the knowledge of wrong path vs. right path… that knowledge is taught. The media portrays images that suggest that the wrong path is not only the right path but the only path. And it does it to everyone especially people of color.

I really wish ppl would stay on the subject. Anyone who has “vision” can “see” & anyone who “listens” can “hear”. This is a no brainer. Btw you should check out the “whole” video. I have a question: Why are some people so offended by the truth?

  • MzeeMoja1 says:

I think it’s because this truth is inconvenient truth. Thereby, people would rather throw arms and talk jibberish, than face it.

  • Nenendude says:

TALK ABOUT IT!!! My friend told me recently, that white kids are purchasing more Hip Hop than Black, how scary…. How’s running Hip Hop? Certainly not these ignorant money hungry rappers today. They’re just riding the gravy train to oblivion.

  • I think whites and blacks are both responsible 4 the message hip hop puts out. If white major record label owners only promote black rappers with the wrong message then of course they are 2 blame. But if black rappers choose 2 send the wrong message 2 their own people just 2 get rich then they are also 2 blame. You cant blame just one side.

  • ramber100 says:

True, but nobody wants to be poor if a Black person sees an opportunity to make some legal money they will take it to live well. Hip Hop is a slave to these white major record labels they have the overall power from a money and distribution perspective. Same thing happend with Rock n Roll, R’B, and Blues. Positive Black people need to take Theyre music back. Flat out.

  • As far as the rappers go, i only blame the well established ones. Once u reach a certain amount of fame, u can make positive songs sell big. TUPAC DID IT and dont try 2 tell me it was different then (rich white men still controlled it). I truly believe rappers like lil wayne and 50cent could change the direction of hip hop. Overall, record labels want 2 make $, they cant afford 2 shut down big name rappers cause they make them 2 much $.

  • realteech.. but there is allways some one with a gun who does not care about the money

    – Syncronicity Abused is like a clock with no meaning other than the countdown to a pourpos.
Apourpos which is obvious and can be stopped.

Abusing entertainment to entangle your selfs into white scociety is like syncronocity
Can be stopped just like a record, and that record can be destroyed.

  • this guy is talking about getting into another culture and tearing it apart from the inside, using music, “you like this music/Yes/HEADSHOT”

  • Stand fast people, times are going to get real obvious, and this will be the time to end it all, no more murder peace ever lasting.
This guy is is encoding into rappers/hip hop’ers minds that the way to infultrate a culture is by what makes everyone happy when it sounds good, and when that happens all hell will break lose by taking it over slowly. =) (WPF)

  • You know something? I saw this porno flick that opened with Al Green’s “Love & Happiness”. Truth be told, I watch porno all the time, But this moment gave me pause.

  • …and let me be clear, I did’nt think it was correct somehow using this man’s music in that way.. Good flick though :)

  • melasun07 says:

@ReALiTeeChEkk This is true in relation to “Death Row Records” as they were a black owned, black ran and black performed music company. The same is not true for any other label as they are all owned by whites (majority Jewish)

In a capitalistic society you do whatever puts food on the table. If a negative message is the means to getting a big deal, that’s what they do.

  • @melasun07 , i understand what u saying and i definitely would place the blame more on the label than the rapper but there are positive rappers making a living in hip hop. maybe they aint making millions but still making a good living. So i still think the rappers have 2 share some of the blame.

I try to avoid watching and listening to all negative things. It is a struggle because this is a negative world that glorify negative things, but it can be done.

I trained in mass media, all medias, including music, books, tv, even some churches are used to socially engineer the masses, or a select group to the political agenda. They all have illumunati/masonic symbols woven in, sometimes right in a music video. You got to get 10 feet back of it to see it and wake up.
