You guys are stupid. It is not fake. As a matter of fact, i went to a Flinstones cartoon and it had subliminal talking in it. Of course the text is new, he wants to make sure you know what he’s saying.
Think about it when u watch this episode without discovering the hidden advertisement we would never know making the advertisement useless the reason for an advertisement is to convince people into buying their product
@TEMPmichaelhansen I’m reminded of that record too (the record itself a radio station apparently had the recording on skipped where the “&P” was heard).
@Lehnerd57 Detroit use to have them into the 80′s. At one point they owned the Farmer Jack stores there as part of a multiple chain of supermarkets they operated in the East coast/Atlantic region of the country but they ended up closing those stores in the last decade.
@SuperL3fty Too often they shift which eye is open in many shots, so it was pretty intentional and not something they had ever thought about in realistic terms (later TV Popeye cartoons in the 60′s sometimes mistakenly leave both eyes open at once).
That was before subliminal ads were banned, I believe. And you can tell it’s distorted audio even before you slow it down. In otherwords, you can tell it’s just something sped up at an unintelligible speed.
@muybridge54
What? No shit the captions are new, he just added them!
@guitarnoob77 haha
pause at 0:16 they are having sex WTF?
That is incredibly cool, and a great insight into ’50s era audio work. [applause]
Thanks for posting!

i wonder what other cartoons do that

@weegeeDS Mainly this was due to those particular cartoons being in the hands of Warner Bros. themselves.
“…so for a delicious buy and golden brown YA DIGG”
One person did not buy David Price donuts
